Computers vs costing

I am a Computer Science graduate working in a hospital. I want to study for a computer-oriented, part-time teaching job. I also want to do ICWA. What is procedure for that?

Vedalatha

You have to consolidate your background in computer science. It is advisable you do advanced courses in J2EE and Microsoft.Net. You could get into programming, preferably in a software company and work on live projects. You can pick up specialised skills in due course. Meanwhile, sharpen your soft skills.

If you serious about getting into the cost accounting profession, you could consider that option. A person holding a degree from a recognised university is eligible for direct admission to the Intermediate Course of ICWAI. This may require regular studyand proper coaching. One can pursue ICWAI as a part-time course while being employed. Based on your aptitude and interest, you may take a final decision in this regard.

For registration you should send your application to the respective regional council.
