Mr Balaji Jagannathan was appointed Country Director, India & Sub Continent for Sybase in February 2004. He is responsible for re-establishing Sybase's industry leadership in the region, that includes India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Pakistan.Prior to joining Sybase, Mr Balaji worked with Computer Associates India as the National Manager for Information Management Solutions for India and SAARC.

With more than decade of experience in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and High Performance Computing, Mr Balaji has partnered with many enterprise customers to provide them with the best-of-the-breed solutions.

Two things that my education/training taught me:

Imagination and connectedness to the larger world existence.

Two things I learnt from my work/real life:

If you don't know how to lose, you will never know how to win. If you do not know this, you should not be in business.

Innovation is everything. If we can imagine a future, we can create it, if we can create that future, others will live in it. That is the essence of success

One quality I look for the most in a new recruit.
