Things that get scheduled are the things that get done

Mr Sanjiv Bhavnani

Mr Sanjiv Bhavnani is CEO and Managing Director of Visesh Infotecnics Ltd. An engineer by qualification, he also holds postgraduate diplomas in marketing and management. Here's his take on four questions from Business Line:

Two things that my education/ training taught me:

Success is all about 99 per cent perspiration and 1 per cent inspiration.

The things that get scheduled are the things that get done.

Two things I learnt from my work/real life:

Hard work is essential but so is out-of-the-box thinking. Perhaps, equally so.

If anything can go wrong, it will, and that too when you least want it to. All you can do is control your attitude and rework the problem.

One quality I look for the most in a new recruit:

Passion for the job that is on offer.

A book that I read recently:

Leading on the Edge of Chaos, by Emmett C. Murphy and Mark A. Murphy.
