IS security

I am a cost accountant with a degree in commerce. I am interested in pursuing a globally recognised course on information systems security. Please advise me.

S. Suresh

Information assurance is a growing and challenging field. In order to get global recognition and proficiency in the domain of Information Systems audit, control and security, you may pursue the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) course conducted by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) of the US (www.isaca.org) .

The CISA examination is conducted twice in a year in June and December. The syllabus for this examination consists of IS audit process, IT governance, systems and infrastructure life cycle, IT service delivery and support, protection of information assets, business continuity and disaster recovery.
