Mr Madhusudan Thakur
Mr Madhusudan Thakur is the Country General Manager, South Asia, Regus Business Centre. An MBA from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai, he has been instrumental in popularising the concept of outsourced workplaces in India and now into Pakistan as well. His favourite pastimes are white water rafting, trekking and playing soccer. Here’s his take on four questions from Business Line: Two things that my education/ training taught me: Having actively participated in sports whilst in high school and college, I had the opportunity to develop my leadership skills. I learnt to be perseverant while pursuing my MBA. Two things I learnt from my work/ real life: The importance of time management. You cannot be efficient and nice at the same time. One quality I look for the most in a new recruit: A person who has common sense and who also maintains eye contact while talking to you. A book that I read recently: Life of Pi, by Jan Martell.
