H.V. Ananda H.V. Ananda is the Managing Director of Synplicity India and holds a doctoral degree after an ME in Electrical Communication engineering from IISc, Bangalore. He has over 34 years of experience in the field of semiconductor technology and design. He is a senior member of IEEE and has been a member of several committees set up by the government to oversee development of microelectronics in the country. Here’s his take on four questions from Business Line : Two things that my education/ training taught me: Hard work will always pay. Get a solid grip on fundamental concepts. Rest will be simple. Two things I learnt from my work/real life: More you learn, more you realise how much you don’t know. Life is full of compromises. Be ready to give a bit if you want to gain a lot.
