The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the West Bengal police has arrested three senior officials of United Bank of India on allegations of a fraud of ₹173 crore. All three arrested employees were managerial staff. They were arrested from different locations in the city. The CID, sources said, was acting on a specific complaint of allegedly forging bank guarantee papers.
