Annapurna Microfinance has raised about ₹61 crore in fresh equity from private equity firm Bamboo Capital Partners along with existing investors BIO and Oikocredit. It will use the additional capital to expand its operations.
Annapurna operates in 10 States. It has close to 10 lakh borrowers and a gross loan portfolio of about ₹1,236 crore as on March 2017. With the majority of its business coming from Odisha and Chhattisgarh, it has been expanding its footprint in other States.
