Indian Overseas Bank on Wednesday organised a ‘Retail Utsav’ across all its branches in Delhi. The main function was organised at the Parliament Street Branch in the presence of Annie George Mathew, Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure in the Ministry of Finance and Government Nominee Director on IOB’s board. Sanctions to the tune of ₹44 crore under various retail and MSME loans schemes were given to the customers of the bank at the function, a statement issued by the bank said. The bank is lending greater focus on retail lending, which has lower turnaround time, in order to cater to increased demand from customers.
