Karnataka Bank has surpassed a business turnover of ₹1 lakh crore.
Quoting Mahabaleshwara MS, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, a press release said here on Thursday that Karnataka Bank, which started with a nominal seed capital of ₹11,580, 93 years ago, has grown from strength to strength achieving many milestones.
The achievement of ₹1-lakh crore business is a historic one.
Terming it as the long cherished dream, he said, this achievement has placed Karnataka Bank in the next league. “From here onwards the growth pace will further accelerate and this will serve as a strong foundation for solid growth hereafter” he said.
The bank has a customer base of over 90 lakh.
