Kotak Mahindra Bank has launched Bharat App in Tamil that will enable mobile banking on SMS platform. Customers without Net connectivity get mobile banking facility through Bharat App, which is also available in Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi and Kannada.
A press release from Kotak said it is available on Android phones with basic version 2.2.3 onwards. Customers can download the app without a separate registration process. They can transfer funds, manage savings bank account and transact up to ₹2,500 a day at a time.
