Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has been admitted to a hospital, following a slight deterioration in his medical condition.
Jaitley was earlier this month treated for certain diabetes condition at a private speciality hospital in the Capital.
Consequent to the latest development, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has cancelled the event slated for Monday for the launch of revamped Web site of the income-tax department at the hands of Jaitley.
Owing to his medical condition, Jaitley had recently skipped an important G20 finance ministers' meeting at Cairns, Australia.
