Trying to put an end to the controversy over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's educational qualifications, the BJP released his BA certificate here on Monday. The Gujarat University had clarified earlier that the Prime Minister had completed his Masters in Political Science from the University.

BJP president Amit Shah said the Aam Aadmi Party has brought down the level of political debate to such a low that any allegations can be levelled against an opponent without any basis. He said he will write to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the issue.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said AAP is trying to use political adventurism as an alternative to governance. He said the government in a Union Territory is creating hurdles for the federal structure by making baseless allegations against the Prime Minister.
