Visakhapatnam is getting ready to host the third Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit next month and the Andhra Pradesh government is confident of a very enthusiastic response to the summit from Indian investors and abroad. The summit is to be held for three days from February 24.

MoUs entailing investment of lakhs crores of were signed during the earlier two summits.

The summit this time will highlight investment opportunities in logistics, food processing industries and tourism, according to officials. The event is to be held by CII in association with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India, and Andhra Pradesh Government.

“We have started the registration process. The response is quite encouraging. We are expecting partnership with the governments and top industrialists from South Korea, Japan and Germany. Negotiations are going on,” a senior official said.
