The Eastern Railway will run special trains on Sunday (October 11) in view of the Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET).
Six pairs of additional EMU locals – Sealdah-Canning, Sealdah-Lakshmikantapur, Sealdah-Diamond Harbour, Sealdah-Bangaon, Sealdah-Hasnabad and Sealdah–Kalyani sections – will run along Sealdah division.
In case of Howrah division, 3 pairs of additional EMU trains will run in different sections, including Barddhaman-Rampurhat, Tarakeswar-Arambagh and Bandel-Katwa.
One EMU special train will also run between Barddhaman and Howrah. Moreover, additional stoppages at different stations will be provided in 10 mail/express trains running over different sections.
Likewise, the Asansol division of Eastern Railway will run one pair of DEMU special train between Andal and Sainthia stations.
