The second edition of E-Summit, organised by E-cell in the Indian Institute of Technology-Madras, will start tomorrow.

The three-day event aims to connect entrepreneurs from colleges across India with industry and help them start their venture through combination of lectures, workshops, start-up boot camp and quiz. The event will also feature Pitchfest, wherein start-ups with fully prepared prototype that are operational participate and receive funding and incubation.

So far, 90 start-ups have applied for Pitchfest, 80 for start-up boot camp and 400 for workshops. Over 3,000 people are expected to participate this year.
