The first batch of the Technology Entrepreneurship Programme (TEP) will graduate in Indian School of Business (ISB) on December 17.

The TEP is a semi-virtual programme designed in association with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and the Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG) Andhra Pradesh

“This initiative from the ISB and the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, will play a significant role in fulfilling the needs of young Indians with an entrepreneurial bent of mind and make them wealth creators for the nation in the years to come,” Aruna Reddy, Head, Centre for Entrepreneurship (CIE), ISB, said in a release.

Aimed at igniting the entrepreneurial spirit among young technologists, the TEP is also backed by a host of blue-chip players in the country, including Microsoft, Google, Deloitte, HBR, Tata Motors etc.

Senior executives from these companies have agreed to mentor potential technopreneurs in their third and fourth year of engineering from about 20 colleges in the two States.

TEP aims to provide an environment/experience for engineering students across all disciplines where they can create proof of concept (POC) models and enhance their own employability apart from exploring options to kick off their own start-ups.
