Project Indywood, a drive to promote film tourism in the state capital, is being planned for the benefit of the film, hotel and tourism sectors, said Sohan Roy, Chairman and CEO of the UAE-based Aries Group. A tour package will take a visitor to film tourism destinations in the city, including the dual 4K cinemas at Aries Plex; Aries Vismayas Max Studio, Aries Guinness Chundan, world’s longest steel-made snakeboat, and Magic Planet. Global branding of the city and promotion of 4K film tourism are key objectives, he said.
