Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on a three-nation tour on Saturday. Modi’s first stop, on the same day, is Portugal, where he will meet Prime Minister Antonio Costa. From Portugal, Modi travels to the US, where he will meet President Donald Trump in Washington DC on June 26. The Prime Minister leaves for the Netherlands on June 27 where he will meet the Dutch leadership with a primary focus on trade and economic issues.

Taxpayers who have missed the second deadline to enrol with the Goods and Services Tax Network, the IT backbone for GST, will get another chance to do so when the portal opens a third window for enrolling on June 25, five days before the rollout of the new tax.

GST Network will on June 25 launch an offline excel sheet format for use by traders and businesses to upload sales data on the GST portal. Navin Kumar, Chairman of GST-Network, said the GST return forms for all kinds of trade/ sales, including composition, e-commerce, non-resident taxable person, would be put up on the GSTN website by mid-July.
