The Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs-established Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has chosen the Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry as the “nodal agency” for partnering awareness and training programmes in eastern India.
On Tuesday, the chamber President, Kallol Datta, signed an agreement with Bhaskar Chatterjee, Director-General & CEO, IICA, Bengal Chamber said in a statement.
IICA and Bengal Chamer will collaborate in the areas of corporate social responsibility, competition law, corporate law, corporate governance, inclusive growth and sustainable development.
Datta said that both will focus on capacity building, training programmes, joint workshops, seminars and conferences. “We will also be working together to offer certificate courses and short-term training,” he added.
