Indian travellers to the US have grown 11.9 per cent at 9,61,790 visitors in 2014, compared to the previous year, a statement from Brand USA said. According to US Department of Commerce figures, in 2014 India was the 11th largest inbound tourism market for the country.
The data added that a record 75 million international visitors travelled to the US in 2014, a 7 per cent increase from 2013. Brand USA is the public-private partnership responsible for promoting the US as a premier travel destination and communicating entry/exit policies and procedures.
