The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) has appointed retired bureaucrat M. Gopalakrishna as the Convener of the Andhra Pradesh Chapter of INTACH. INTACH, based in New Delhi, was founded 30 years ago to create awareness about the cultural and natural heritage of the country.
“The AP Convener will co-ordinate with the local district chapters to secure public cooperation in protection, preservation and upkeep of arts, culture and heritage buildings in the State,” an INTACH press release said here on Sunday.
