For Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) which led the movement for the Telangana state, forming the first State Government is a pleasant, yet different experience.
"When we came to Secretariat earlier, we were prevented by police. Now, the same are giving us a red carpet welcome, " said K Kavitha, TRS Member of Parliament and daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
She was speaking outside the C block which houses the Chief Minister's Office in the State Secretariat here on Monday.
When asked on her role in the development of the state, she said as a MP, she would pressurise the Centre to help in development.
