Japan-based Nihon Trim Co Ltd, engaged in sale and manufacture of water purifiers, launched its operations in India through a joint venture with MedinipponHealthcare Pvt. Ltd. The company introduced its machine Trim Ion, which is based on anti-oxidant water processing technology, in Chennai on Wednesday. It will also introduce bottled antioxidant water for the retail market soon. Unlike simple water purifiers and reverse osmosis technology, Japanese company’s technology is an anti-oxidant water production system which converts the potable tap water to become an anti-oxidant water enhancing its health benefits significantly, according to a statement.
