Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje today said the well-to-do families should consider buying the LPG cylinders on market price and leave the subsidised cylinders for the benefit of the eligible and poor people.
Speaking on the occasion of Republic Day function at the State Secretariat here, Raje asked “the well-to-do families to give up subsidised LPG cylinders so that eligible and poor people can get the benefit of the subsidy.”
Claiming that Rajasthan was ahead of other states in sanitation drive, Raje asked people to continue the drive for cleanliness throughout the year.
She also mentioned the state government’s grievance redressal campaign ‘Sarkar Apke Dwar’ has benefited many people and said that united efforts were needed to take the advantage of various government schemes to maximise the number of beneficiaries.
“Our government is working with full dedication with a commitment to make Rajasthan a strong state,” she said during the function.
