Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is going to inaugurate the 101 st foundation day celebration of Karur Vysya Bank in Vizag Conventions hall on Saturday morning, according to P.R Seshadri, the Managing Director and CEO.

He was addressing the media here on Friday. He said KVB, a leading private sector bank with headquarters at Karur in Tamil Nadu, was set up in 1961 by M.A. Venkatarama Chettiar and Athi Krishna Chettiar. It has a branch network of 764 with several innovative products for retail, commercial and corporate segments. It has 1774 ATMs and 505 cash deposit machines.

He said Andhra Pradesh with three divisional offices remained the focus area for the bank. He said the bank was holding the 101 Founder’s Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam as the city had emerged as the main commercial hub of the State. KVB has 14 branches in the city.

He said the bank had launched a big exercise for digital transformation by launching paperless loan sanction up to Rs 1 crore to small and medium units.

Bank President and COO K.V. Rao was also present.
