The West Bengal government will return land ownership to 9,117 farmers in Singur on September 14 and cheques to 800 farmers who have not taken money.
The Supreme Court's verdict will be followed, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said.
"If anyone violates the law, the law will take its own course," she warned cow vigilantes.
