CII’s 25th National Quality Summit with the theme ‘Quality Evolution — Journey through Innovation’ concluded here on Sunday.
The two-day meet witnessed a record participation by over 600 delegates who were addressed by over 30 national and international speakers, a press statement said.
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu and Karnataka Minister of IT, BT & Tourism Priyank Kharge attended the event.
Shin Taguchi, Chief Technical Officer, ASI Consulting Group of the US, spoke on the role of Robust Quality Engineering in bringing global practices to the Make in India programme.
CII Institute of Quality was conferred the ‘Gold’ level of certification under the ‘IGBC Green Existing Buildings’ rating system at the meet. The Institute launched e-learning courses on quality and signed two MoUs with ASQ, India, and Tamkeen, Bahrain, on the occasion.
