ESY India, which recently introduced low-cost printing solutions in the country, is targeting a sales revenue of Rs 300 crore by 2016.

The company is a 100 per cent subsidiary of ESYINK, a leading ink manufacturer in Malaysia.

The Indian subsidiary has launched its ink system in India which can bring down the printing cost considerably. V.P. Sajeevan, CEO, ESY India claimed that the cost of printing per page would be as low as 10 paisa.

The company started pilot marketing the product in Kerala in March and has gained 6,000 customers. The new CISS (continuous ink supply system) will revolutionise the Kerala market, he said.

ESYINK had developed finest micro ink for Inkjet printers, particularly for Canon printers. With this, high quality photo printing and document printing can be done at very affordable cost, he said.

India is one of the largest markets for printers and printing. However, the cost of printing is high in India compared with other countries. With the ESYINK CISS, the printing cost can be brought down by 80 per cent, he added.

ESY India has also plans to add ESY Tab and ESY phone (smart phone) in its product list shortly to address the growing consumer digital market, he said.
