Finland-based stainless-steel manufacturer Outokumpu is showcasing its range of products and technical services in emerging high-end applications in the sectors of energy, oil and gas, chemical processing, water treatment, and desalination plants at Chemtech South exhibition being held here.

As a leading global stainless-steel supplier, Outokumpu is also highlighting how speciality stainless steels provide for sustainable solutions for safer and more reliable processes.” said Yatinder Pal Singh Suri, Managing Director and Country Head, Outokumpu India.
In a statement coinciding with Chemtech South World 2017 being held at Hitex Exhibition CentreSuri said: “Outokumpu’s high-strength, duplex stainless steel grades offer new opportunities for the industry to attain these goals increasingly effectively and competitively.”
He said the overall demand for stainless-steel flat products in the industrial segment in India is more than 800,000 tonnes. The demand for industrial grades is set to grow more than three times in the next decade.
