The Kerala Goods and Services Tax (GST) Department has said an offline programme is now ready where dealers can prepare their GSTR-1 returns.
This is available as a download link on the homepage of www.gst.gov.in , an official spokesman of the state GST Department said here today.
Technical help and guidance to install the offline programme, navigate through it in order to prepare the return can be sourced from the main website itself, he added.
Dealers can incorporate up to 19,000 invoices and allied details through the offline facility. Returns for the months of July and August have to be submitted latest by September 5 and 20 respectively.
By using the offline programme, dealers can avoid the last-minute rush and associated glitches and also come to terms with the nitty-gritty of preparing the return in advance, the spokesman said.
The interim GSTR-3B returns for July and August should be submitted latest by August 20 and September 20, the spokesman said.
