Popular eating destination chain Paradise Food Court, known for authentic Hyderabadi Biryani and kebabs, is all set to go places, as it sets out on to major expansion drive.

From a base in Hyderabad, it has expanded to 16 restaurants over the past few years, setting six outlets in the IT centric city of Bengaluru, and one centre in Chennai. While the company is close to opening its first one in Visakhapatnam and another one in Whitefield, the IT hub in Bengaluru, it is eyeing expansion into Western and Northern parts of the country.

Aiming at the Indian community in Dubai, Singapore and Canada, the management of Paradise chain is evaluating the opportunity of setting up restaurants there too, but possibly by next year.

Known for authentic Hyderabadi dum Biryani and Mughlai dishes, the Paradise chain has grown cautiously as it prefers to set up its own stores as against some of the restaurants adopting to franchise model.

“We are not chasing any numbers nor do have any targets in terms of number of stores. But we would slowly and steadily expand identifying the right place to locate our store. Shortly, we will be adding one more store in Bengaluru and adding Vizag to our business,” Gautam Gupta, Director of Paradise Food Court, said.

“While we have begun to offer home delivery through a tie up with Swiggy, we are working to expand our presence teaming up with Zomato. There is a huge customer base seeking home delivery and we plan to serve them through such tie ups,” Gupta said.

“Hyderabad is known for Nizams, pearls and authentic Biryani and we would like to share this great cuisine with its lovers wherever we can by setting up stores,” Gupta said.

Vijay Anand Bakshi, Corporate Chef of Paradise, said, “A lot of research and effort goes into evolving new dishes to bring the best out for the food lovers. For a chef every dish is special and yet we have chosen about 15 new dishes to share with food lovers to be offered during the Kebab festival.”

The festival brings best of both worlds for non vegetarian and vegetarian food lovers. One of the specialities offered during the festive times is a dish popularised during the Wajid Ali Shah regime. It is called Lucknowi Galauti kebab, which is soft and ideal for those with weak teeth/gums.
