On the second day of his two-day Gujarat visit, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate 8th edition of his pet event, Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017 at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.

World leaders including Presidents, State heads and representatives of the governments from over 20 countries will be witness to the grandest of the Vibrant Gujarat Summits. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the event in the post noon session amid presence of a galaxy of business heads from Indian and international corporations.

The Presidents of Kenya and Rwanda, Prime Ministers from Portugal and Serbia and Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia and Poland along with senior foreign ministers from other countries will remain present at the inaugural function.

Among the business heads, representatives from the global majors such as Boeing, Cisco, RasGas, Suzuki Motors Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Huntsman, DP World, SAAB AB, Toyo, Hitachi, Dell and Fedex among global corporations will join Indian industry captains including Mukesh Ambani from Reliance Industries, Kumar Mangalam Birla from Adiya Birla Group, Shashi Ruia from Essar Group, Anand Mahindra from Mahindra Group, Sunil Bharti Mittal from Bharti Enterprises, Reliance ADA's Anil Ambani, Adani Group's Gautam Adani, SBI chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya and Flipkart Co-founder Sachin Bansal among others.

Earlier on Tuesday, PM made an unscheduled visit to his mother Hiraba who lives with his brother at Raisan village near Gandhinagar. In a tweet on Tuesday he wrote that he had skipped his daily yoga session to meet his mother early this morning and had breakfast with her.

In the evening, PM Modi will have a round-table meet with these over 50 global and Indian CEOs and discuss business prospects in India. Modi will be joined with Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Gujarat Chief minister Vijay Rupani.

After the round-table meet, Modi is scheduled to have a gala dinner with the dignitaries on the terrace of Mahatma Mandir before leaving for New Delhi later in the evening.
