Tata Medical Centre, which provides comprehensive cancer treatment at Kolkata, is organising a performing arts evening, ‘Flame of Hope’, in the city on January 21. The programme will be organised at the Prinscep Ghat along the Hooghly river.
The event is organised to pay tribute to art, artists and art enthusiasts and to raise funds for underprivileged cancer patients, the company said in a release.
According to the release, the event will feature Bharatnatyam danseuse Malavika Sarukkai, Usha Uthup, artist Paresh Maity among others and former cricketer Ravi Shastri will be the guest-of-honour for the event.
Established in Kolkata in 2011, The Tata Medical Center has treated more than 65,000 patients till date
Envisaged by Geeta Gopalakrishnan, Director – Donor Relations, Tata Medical Center, THE ‘Flame of Hope’ is an experience designed to reach out to the larger society, and raise funds for underprivileged cancer patients, the release further said.
