After completing two phases of affordable housing project and moving ahead on to the third phase of the Garden City project in Vedapatti, Town & City Developers (T&CD), KG Group, has sensed the need for promotion of a mall in the vicinity.

“While the occupants are happy, they have voiced the need for a mall and a play area for children to take care of their day-to-day needs. 'The Mall of Garden City' in Vedapatti is the outcome of the residents yearning for such a facility,” said Sanjana Vijayakumar and Kiruthika Vikram, Managing Partners, T&CD.

(Located near Veerakeralam, off Thondamuthur road, Garden City is about 5 km from R S Puram and in close proximity to other fast growing areas like Perur, Selvapuram, Vadavalli and Gandhi Park)

The project promoters are gearing up to unveil the mall, bookings for which would open on August 3.

The commercial complex, built in the 11-acre residential township of Garden City, will occupy 50,000 sq feet built-up space, with four floors of commercial space.

The mall will house commercial occupants like departmental store, bakery, fruits and vegetable hop, milk booth, pharmacy, laundromat, mess/ canteen, a clinic and all essential services required for a complete lifestyle, Sanjana said.

Kiruthika said that unlike other malls, this complex would envision to address the needs of the 1,500 families, residing in the Garden City township. “We don’t intend to have a theatre in this complex” she added.
