Vedanta Foundation and Vedanta Sesa Goa Iron Ore, in collaboration with the Karnataka Directorate of Education, have launched a pilot project to promote digital education in schools across the State.

The Deputy Director of Public Instruction, Chitradurga district, Revana Siddappa, has launched ‘The Smart Class’ project.

Speaking on the occasion Siddappa said, “Vedanta has greatly contributed towards making the Digital India dream of our honourable Prime Minister a reality. Vedanta, being the major corporate in Karnataka, we expect more initiatives and contribution towards CSR. We appreciate the efforts taken by Vedanta Foundation and Vedanta Sesa Goa Iron Ore in order to promote digital education among young children.”

A demo of the smart class and its benefits was communicated to the gathering by Waheed from Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Ltd.
