Education company Pearson has announced the launch of Pearson Assessment Centre of Excellence in India, to drive personalised learning with curriculum, assessments, and certifications.

Pearson India, in association with global Achievement Testing Series company Stanford India, will conduct the Stanford Assessment Test India in August this year for classes 3 to 10.

Naveen Rajlani, V-P and Business Head, K12 Inside Services, Pearson India, said, “This is a concept-based annual test, primarily to assess higher order thinking skills in English, Mathematics and Science. We took this test to around 65,000 children across 300 schools in India in 2013. Now we are re-launching it by adapting it to the Indian context.” Pearson will help schools produce accurate analysis in a timely manner through precise psychometric, statistical, and data analysis and an annual mapping of students’ progress.
