Tamil Nadu will soon launch online filing of Planning Permission application with Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, said DP Yadav, Secretary for Housing and Urban Development, Tamil Nadu.

The software will facilitate online filing of applications that will be forwarded to other government offices for ‘No Objection Certificates’, according to a press release.

Ajit Kumar Chordia, who has taken over as president of Credai, Tamil Nadu, today requested the state government to enable co-working spaces, which is an emerging trend in IT industry. He also handed over a ‘Concept Note’ on the Township Policy for Tamil Nadu.

In response to the industry body’s request on ease of doing business and other challenges, Udumalai K Radhakrishnan, Tamil Nadu Housing Minister, said in the press release that the single-window system would be implemented soon and adequate sand supplies would be ensured.
