Jindal Realty, the OP Jindal Group firm, today announced an investment of ₹1,800 crore in Haryana for developing four projects.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana government to boost investments in developing Sonepat and Kurukshetra as new destinations.
The MoU was signed at the ‘Happening Haryana’ summit held at Gurgaon on Monday.
“The company would invest ₹1,800 crore in developing four projects in these areas,” Jindal Realty said in a statement.
Other projects
These projects would be taking off in the financial year of 2016-17, it added. Jindal Realty is already developing projects like Sonepat Global City and Kurukshetra Global City.
The MoU was signed between Arun Gupta, Director General Town and Country Planning Department, Government of Haryana and Gaurav Jain, MD & CEO, Jindal Realty in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
“I am extremely pleased to announce that JRPL is taking its enduring relationship with the state of Haryana. It is one more step in the development of Sonepat Haryana’s prime industry and education hub,” Jain said.
While Jindal Global City, Sonepat is spread over 650 acres, Jindal Global City, Kurukshetra is spread over 89 acres.
