Over 12,000 properties from about 100 developers, spread across Mumbai and the metropolitan region, will be on display at a real estate and housing finance exhibition at the MMRDA Grounds between April 11 and 14.

The expo is being organised by the Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry.

State Bank of India is the co-sponsor of the exhibition. Housing finance institutions and banks such as Punjab National Bank and Canara Bank are part of the expo, the organisers said.

Properties in Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Chennai will also be showcased at the event.

Bandish Ajmera, chairman, exhibition committee said, “Housing in Mumbai is at par with global standards, and aspiring customers could look forward to a truly global class experience. The housing sector attracts significant investments from a large number of non-resident Indians.”

Properties ranging from one to five BHK and studio apartments, duplex, penthouses, row houses, bungalows, second homes/holiday homes, plots and office premises will be exhibited at the event.

Manju Yagnik, co-chairperson, said, “With the presence of leading housing finance companies at the exhibition, home buyers will be able to buy their dream home during the exhibition. We have also observed, in the recent past, that many corporations in Mumbai look for opportunities to book apartments during the exhibitions.”
