Jagmohan Dalmiya is the new President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. He was elected unopposed at the board's 85th annual General Meeting held here today.
Dalmiya, President, Cricket Association of Bengal, assumes the office of President for the second time, and will manage the board for the next three years.
The other office bearers elected today were: Anurag Thakur - Secretary, Amitabh Choudhary - Joint Secretary and Anirudh Chaudhry - Treasurer.
The Vice-Presidents elected were ML Nehru (representing north zone), G Ganga Raju (south), Gautam Roy (east), TC Mathew (west) and CK Khanna (central), said a press release from BCCI.
Outgoing president N Srinivasan was also present at the meeting.
