The High Commissioner of Rwanda in India, Ernest Rwamucyo, and the Honorary Consul of Rwanda in Bengaluru, Mohan Suresh, and the students of Rwanda studying in Bengaluru are organising ‘Umuganda (Swachh Bharat) Community Work’ on Febraury 28 between 9 am and 12 noon at Lalbagh Garden, Bengaluru.
According to Mohan Suresh, around 300 Rwandan students and their counterparts in India with uniform T-shirts, masks and other cleaning implements would take up cleaning.
“This is being done to strengthen the morale of the Rwandan and Indian students and inspire the young generation to always keep the surroundings clean,” he added.
