Hyderabad will host the ninth Asia Pacific Symposium on Cochlear Implants and Related Sciences (APSCI 2013).
The three-day meet will begin on November 26. APSCI president Mohan Kameswaran said about 1,000 delegates from 60 countries would take part in the meet where 55 experts in cochlear science would share their experiences.
“The conference would highlight the concerns of hearing impaired people in developing countries, especially in countries like India. It’s aimed at updating the best available technology and treatment procedures for restoration of hearing in these individuals,” he said.
The earlier edition was held in South Korea and the next symposium will be hosted by China.
