The National Research Development Corporation (NRDC) has paid ₹6.46 crore royalty payments for the year 2015-16 for the technologies it licensed.
The Chairman and Managing Director H Purushotham handed over a cheque to the Director-General, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Girish Sahni, in the presence of Union Minister for Science & Technology, Harsh Vardhan.
The NRDC, under the Ministry is involved in commercialisation of indigenous technologies developed by various public-funded national institutes and universities.
