In order to share knowledge on the emerging sustainable trends in building services and construction, a seminar on Jal-Vayu-Agni was organised in Rajkot on July 26. Pankaj Dharkar, Director - Pankaj Dharkar & Associates (MEP Consultant), President - FSAI Gujarat Chapter (Fire and Security Association of India), presented the current scenario of the construction industry and described the need of energy efficiency and sustainability.
The seminars under the theme, ‘Jal Vayu Agni 2014 - Emerging Trends in Building Services’ witnessed participants from Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The event was seen as a prelude to ACREX India 2015, South Asia’s largest exhibition on Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration & Building Services. The issues and trends on energy efficient building designs discussed during the event will be taken forward on a national level at ACREX India 2015.
