Herbalife, a global nutrition company, on Tuesday felicitated five of its sponsored athletes for their achievements in the just concluded Asian Games 2014.
The athletes who were felicitated include boxer Mary Kom (gold medallist); badminton ace Saina Nehwal (bronze); squash player Dipika Pillai (bronze); pistol shooter Heena Sindhu (bronze) and paralympic high-jumper HN Girisha (bronze).
Except Nehwal, the other four athletes were present at the felicitation here in the city today.
Each of these athletes will also receive a cash award for their achievements, the company said in a release.
“I am extremely proud and would like to congratulate all athletes for their achievements at Incheon, South Korea (venue of the Asian Games),” Ajay Khanna, Vice-President & Country Head, Herbalife India, was quoted in the release.
