GVK has come forward to promote another tennis sensation Gunuganti Sruta Kirti, a 14-year-old Hyderabad girl.
The young star is ranked No. 3 in the Under-14 and No. 9 in the Under-16 National Circuits. She has already won a Final and two Runners-Up National Titles.
In the past, GVK has sponsored tennis ace Sania Mirza, when her on-field stints were not so widely known in the tennis world, and Yadlapalli Pranjala, a young Hyderabad talent who has been reigning the junior circuit.
G.V.K. Reddy, Founder Chairman and Managing Director, GVK, spotted Sruta Kirti’s potential and decided to support her. A tennis enthusiast, Reddy has supported such young sportspersons and helped them to achieve their dreams.
The group takes pride in encouraging young talent. GVK Foundation, the social activity wing, runs many development programmes and has instituted a Tennis Academy to promote future tennis champions.
