Laqshya Media Group has teamed up with Kapil Dev’s company, Dev Ellora, to create the Mumbai team for the Louis Philippe Golf Cup that starts next week. The Dev Ellora Laqshya Mumbai team would feature leading Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa, in addition to Harendra Gupta and Zamal Hossain Mollah.
The Louis Philippe Golf tournament, in its third iteration, would include teams from Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Noida, Kolkata and Colombo.
Speaking on the joint collaboration between Laqshya and Dev Ellora, Alok Jalan, Managing Director, Laqshya Media Group said it was a matter of pride to be associated with golfing legends like Jyoti Randhawa.
On his part, Jyoti Randhawa said that for the first time, all the stalwarts of Indian golf would be playing in a competitive tournament in front of a Mumbai crowd.
The Louis Philippe Cup features the top 18 ranked professionals on the final PGTI 2013 order of merit and would be a four day tournament at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club in Mumbai, starting February 17.
