Star batsman and Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma is the latest Indian cricketer to get hitched as he got engaged to his longtime friend Ritika Sajdeh.
The 28-year-old batsman proposed Ritika, who is also of the same age, at the Borivali Sports Club in Mumbai, where he began his cricketing career. “From best friends to soulmates, couldn’t get any better,” Rohit wrote on his twitter handle and also uploaded a photograph of him and his lady love wearing a solitaire.

Rohit is the world record holder for the highest run score in one-day-International cricket history (264 against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens).
He has known Ritika for the last six years and she has worked as his manager.
Wishes poured in from their acquaintances, including cricketer Yuvraj Singh.
