A city court on Saturday remanded Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Srinjoy Bose in police custody for four days. Bose’s interim bail plea was rejected.
The MP, also the editor of Bengali daily Sangbad Pratidin and the Trinamool mouth-piece Jago Bangla, was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday in connection with the Saradha Scam.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate Alipore Court remanded Bose to police custody till November 26.
